    Objectives:

    This motivational presentation will inspire our young girls to become aware of the negative messages that are often sent by the books they read, the T.V. shows they view, and today’s media. By opening their eyes to these myths they will begin to see the world differently and to understand their true strengths.  The messages of this presentation include independence, heartiness and choice. It addresses the need for standing up for what you believe in, for realizing open career options and for planning your future. The ten qualities of an independent and hearty strong girl are discussed, including: being able and being seen as able, saving for the future, and being smart. This powerful presentation closes by asking all participants to commit to growing strong. By making a commitment to be a strong girl our young girls will be well on their way to becoming strong women.
